Wine Review
The Story
FOW Optimo was born from the lifelong dedication of winemaker Fabricio Orlando, whose vision was to craft a wine that reflects both his passion for wine making and the unique character of his homeland. His commitment to quality over quantity guides every step of the process, from the careful selection of grapes to the final blend in the bottle.
Master Blend philosophy: Optimo is not about expressing a single variety or even a specific vintage. It is about making the best possible wine Fabricio can in a given year. It is an exercise of freedom, intuition, and balance. In this bottle, Malbec provides structure and a strong fruit core, Cabernet Franc adds tension and elegance, Bonarda brings volume, softness, and mid-palate generosity. Optimo is one of the most personal wines Fabricio Orlando makes. It is where he works without compromise, focusing only on balance, depth, and pleasure.
